Once upon a time, in a bright and colorful pond, there lived a happy little frog named Froggy. Froggy had big, curious eyes and a friendly smile. He loved to hop around the pond, exploring all the wonderful things it had to offer. Froggy could speak English, and he loved to tell stories to all his friends.
One sunny morning, Froggy decided to tell his friends a fun story about body parts and the face. He hopped onto a big lily pad in the middle of the pond and called out to his friends. «Come here, everyone! I have a funny story to tell you!» he said with excitement.
All the animals in the pond gathered around. There were fish, ducks, turtles, and even a few dragonflies. They all loved listening to Froggy’s stories. «What story are you going to tell us today, Froggy?» asked a curious little fish.
Froggy smiled and began, «Today, I’m going to tell you a story about the parts of our bodies and faces. Are you ready?»
«Yes, we are ready!» shouted all the animals together.
«Great!» said Froggy. «Let’s start with the head. Our heads are very important because they hold our brains, which help us think. Can you all touch your heads?»
All the animals touched their heads with their fins, wings, or paws. «Very good!» said Froggy. «Now, let’s talk about our eyes. We have two eyes that help us see everything around us. I have big, round eyes that help me see far and wide. Can you all blink your eyes?»
The animals blinked their eyes, and Froggy continued, «Next, we have our noses. Our noses help us smell all the wonderful scents in the world. My nose is small and helps me smell delicious flowers and fresh air. Can you all wiggle your noses?»
The animals wiggled their noses and giggled. Froggy laughed too. «Now, let’s talk about our mouths. Our mouths help us eat, drink, and talk. I love to use my mouth to tell stories and catch flies. Can you all open and close your mouths?»
The animals opened and closed their mouths, making funny faces. Froggy clapped his hands. «You’re doing great! Now, let’s move on to our arms and legs. We use our arms to pick things up and our legs to move around. I have strong legs that help me hop high and far. Can you all move your arms and legs?»
The animals moved their arms and legs, splashing water everywhere. They were having so much fun learning with Froggy.
Froggy smiled and said, «Now, let’s put it all together in a funny story. Once upon a time, there was a frog named Froggy who loved to explore. One day, Froggy wanted to visit the other side of the pond, but he needed to make sure all his body parts were ready for the adventure.
«First, Froggy checked his head to make sure his brain was ready to think of fun things to do. ‘All set!’ said Froggy.
«Next, Froggy blinked his big eyes to make sure he could see everything on his journey. ‘All clear!’ said Froggy.
«Then, Froggy wiggled his nose to make sure he could smell all the lovely flowers on the way. ‘All smells good!’ said Froggy.

La conexión emocional con el cuento motiva a los niños a sumergirse más profundamente en las palabras y a descubrir el maravilloso mundo de la lectura. Saber más de mí.
