The Secret of the Sparkle Stones

Once upon a time, in a big, green forest, lived three very good friends. Their names were Pepito Cat, Lulito Fish, and Carlito Frog. Pepito Cat was soft and orange with big, green eyes. He loved to explore the forest and make new friends. Lulito Fish was small and shiny with blue and silver scales. He lived in a little pond in the middle of the forest. Carlito Frog was green with big, strong legs for jumping. He loved to sit on lily pads and sing happy songs.

One sunny morning, Pepito Cat woke up early. He looked out of his little house in a tall tree and saw the bright sun shining. He thought, «Today is a nice day for an adventure!» He stretched his paws and called, «Lulito! Carlito! Let’s go on an adventure!»

Lulito Fish jumped out of the water and splashed happily. «Yes, yes, Pepito! I want to see the forest!» Carlito Frog croaked, «Ribbit! Let’s jump and play all day!» The three friends decided to meet by the pond. Pepito ran down the tree, Lulito swam close to the pond’s edge, and Carlito hopped on the soft, green grass.

The friends wanted to explore the far side of the forest. It was a place they did not know very well. Pepito led the way. He was careful and looked around. The forest was full of tall trees, colorful flowers, and little animals. Birds sang sweet songs in the sky. The wind made the leaves dance. Pepito said, «This forest is very big and beautiful!» Lulito smiled, «I like the sound of the birds!» Carlito jumped high and said, «Let’s find new friends!»

As they walked, Pepito saw something shiny under a big leaf. He moved the leaf with his paw and found a small, silver key. «Look, friends! A key! What do you think it opens?» Lulito said, «Maybe a treasure chest!» Carlito was excited, «Oh, let’s find the chest!» The friends took the key and kept going.

Suddenly, they heard a soft voice. It was a tiny voice, «Help! Help!» Pepito, Lulito, and Carlito stopped and listened. The voice came from a hole near a tree. They looked inside and saw a little mouse stuck in the hole. Pepito said, «Don’t worry! We will help you.»

Pepito tried to pull the mouse out, but the hole was too small for his paws. Lulito said, «I can swim inside,» but there was no water in the hole. Carlito thought and then jumped inside carefully. He was small and light. Carlito said, «Hold on! I am coming.» With a small jump, Carlito reached the mouse and helped her out.

The little mouse smiled and said, «Thank you! My name is Mimi. You are very kind.» Pepito said, «Hello Mimi! We are on an adventure. Would you like to come with us?» Mimi nodded happily, «Yes, I love adventures!»

Now, the group had four friends. They walked together, looking for the treasure chest. They followed a little path with flowers and heard the sound of water nearby. They came to a big, beautiful pond. It was bigger than Lulito’s little pond. The pond was full of colorful fish, water lilies, and sometimes frogs jumped from one leaf to another.

Pepito said, «Let’s look around the pond.» Mimi said, «Wait! I see something!» She pointed with her tiny paw. There, near a big rock, was a small wooden box. It was old and had a tiny lock. Pepito took out the silver key and said, «Maybe this key opens the box!» He put the key in the lock, turned it, and click! The box opened.

Inside the wooden box, there were many shiny stones. The stones were red, green, blue, and yellow. They sparkled in the sunlight. Mimi said, «They are magical stones! They bring happiness to whoever finds them!» Lulito smiled, «Wow! What a nice treasure!»

Carlito jumped with joy. «These stones can help the forest!» Pepito agreed, «Yes, we should share them with all our friends in the forest.» The friends decided to take the stones one by one and give them to animals in the forest. The stones did not just look beautiful; they helped plants grow and made birds sing more happily.

First, they gave a red stone to a baby deer. The deer smiled and danced in the grass. Then, a green stone was given to a garden of flowers. The flowers grew taller and smelled very sweet. Next, a blue stone was given to the water. The water became clean and fresh. Last, the yellow stone was given to the trees. The trees grew many new leaves and small fruits.

All the animals in the forest came to see the happy forest. Pepito, Lulito, Carlito, and Mimi were happy too. They had a big picnic near the pond to celebrate. Pepito ate fish crackers, Lulito enjoyed some water plants, Carlito hopped happily around, and Mimi shared little seeds.

As the sun started to go down, the friends sat together and watched the orange sky. Pepito said, «Today was a very good day. We helped others, found a treasure, and made new friends.» Mimi smiled, «Thank you for saving me! I feel very happy.» Lulito said, «I love adventures with friends!» Carlito croaked softly, «Ribbit! Friends make everything better.»

The forest was now full of happiness, laughter, and magic stones. The adventure of Pepito Cat, Lulito Fish, Carlito Frog, and Mimi Mouse showed that kindness, friendship, and helping others make the world a better place.

And so, every day, the friends played, explored, and shared smiles in the big, green forest. They learned that adventures are fun but friends are the greatest treasure of all.
